I was a Public Defender fighting for people against overwhelming systems.

And for the past 20 years, I've been a Teacher at two public high schools and community college, turning complex history, law, civics, and economics concepts into lessons students could actually understand and apply.

The Heart Attack That Changed Everything
In July of 2023, I had a heart attack. I was 57 years old.
It was a full-stop moment.
During my recovery, I lost 40 pounds and reversed diabetes I didn't even know I had. And I did a lot of thinking about what mattered.
I realized God gave me a second chance. And I refused to waste a single second of the time I had been given back.
At the same time, I saw Artificial Intelligence emerging.
I recognized it immediately.
I grew up with the Atari 2600 and learned BASIC programming on a TRS-80. I saw the PC revolution in the 80s. I was an early adopter of the internet in the 90s—FTP, early email, America Online, before the web went mainstream. I watched the mobile explosion in the early 2000s while working in telecom, helping build the infrastructure that powers our modern world.
After my heart attack, I decided to become an entrepreneur.
So I spent 18 months learning AI inside and out. Not dabbling. Not just playing with ChatGPT. I went deep. I studied how it works, where it breaks, and most importantly, where it can actually solve real problems.
Then I spent 6 months studying service businesses. I talked to HVAC owners, plumbers, roofers, trade schools, and even lawyers. I asked them where they struggle. Where the money leaks. How the stress and burnout is slowly killing their business.
And I kept hearing the same things:
